New season, new places

Oh boy! What a season! It has been awhile since our last update, a lot has happened since then. Alyssa and I left Belize on December 15th- it was a mix of emotions, excitement for the new season and hard to leave friends and family behind.

Coming to Green Bay, Wisconsin, with priority set to spend time with family for the Christmas season, catching  up on what's been happening. We also had some news to tell...2 weeks before leaving Belize we found that we were pregnant. We'd been trying for a year and never expected it. But the little one is on his/her way. It was time of excitement and also thinking about the future. How will we pay for the baby? What are we going to do for the next season? What seemed to be clear when we left Belize became not so clear.

After 2 weeks in WI, we went to Jamaica for two weeks to spend time with my biological family of whom Alyssa had never met. It was a good time of catching up with them because I had not seen them in five years. Also, spending time in prayer for the next season. We spend a lot of time with my spiritual Mom and Dad (Rev. Bob and Mary Holland) who raised me from 6 years old.

Now we are back in Green Bay! Alyssa working and I'm just waiting to get my residency taken care of so I could go to school and apply for work.

ALSO...I have recorded a CD (U R God) unplugged version. Thanks to my friend, Mervin Budram who encouraged me and recorded the music...its available on the right side of our blog, music download.

Next season look likes...
It will be a season of adjustment. I've never lived in the US before and Alyssa has not lived in the US in 5 years.
  1. So one I will be doing my GED first then
  2. I want to go to mechanic school
  3. I will be also interning with our home church here in Green Bay.
  4. Alyssa is working for now but she will be going back to school also and looking for another job.

Prayer requests
  1. For my residency process
  2. For a car
  3. For Alyssa as she carries the baby, for a smooth pregnancy
  4. For finances to pay for the birth
  5. For the adjustment
