Week #6

We are in the 6th week of Discipleship Training School, it began July 1st and will graduate the end of November. We have 7 students in all- 4 Belizeans (including one Taiwanese who has lived in Belize for 16 years), 2 Americans and 1 Nigerian. Elizabeth (Nigerian) came late…2 weeks into the school. She had some difficulties getting to the country by way of Cuba. She began her journey at the end of May, going to Cuba and El Salvador before being welcomed into Belize.

The best week yet (in my opinion) learning about Spiritual Warfare and seeing the resistance in our own lives. Thank You Jesus for the authority to speak to hindrances and see them move. We are learning how important it is to pray specifically for people, nations and leaders. God moves with our prayers.

The class is meshing together, really working on their relationships to love one another. They’ve been challenged to meditate on 1 Corinthians 13 (the LOVE chapter) and ask God how they can be more loving in their motives and actions.

It’s amazing how God has led this school, melding it together. Truthfully, Omar and I have felt the most incapable leading these students. Thank God for His grace and that He is faithful to lead, bring revelation, love and bring His truth. God has brought the INCREASE!!

Please keep us in prayer. The 2nd week of October marks the beginning of international outreach. We’ll be heading to Mexico City and Dominican Republic. Our mission in Mexico will be joining outreach teams from all over the world, to saturate this city with God’s truth/love. This is a long term goal–YWAM (global) hoping to establish a permanent presence in this city. In the D.R. our class will be participating in YWAM’s 50th Anniversary, where we’ll serve past and current missionaries, including our founders, Loren and Darlene Cunningham. Our team is in need of outreach funds. Please pray and ask God how He would want you to partner with us!

Blessings to all!!
