Summer- oh summer!! Schools are officially graduated and summertime is here!! One college student from our youth group commented, "I'm bored!!" Not a positive beginning but she welcomes the homework free months!! We're hoping to grow closer as Joshua Generation Youth Group, doing some activities like zip lining this summer. Dare to be adventurous!
A lot is happening in these next months- the dance performance is this Saturday at 6:30pm. Its going to be a touching show, the theme based on Max Lucado's children's book, "You are Special!" Rehearsal was this past Monday and I found myself almost in tears, its that good!
July 1st marks the first day of DTS and the weekend of Legacy Youth Conference. We'll commemorate the 4th of July with the last day of the conference, I hope to have some sparklers too!! Its a jam-packed push ahead- I can't wait!!
One heart event- one of the girls from our youth group is attending DTS. My heart is over joyed!! I'm so thankful that God has her in this moment so close to us. There's lots of disappointments in life- but they all fade away when someone you love makes a choice like this. Can't imagine what parenthood will be like someday!
