A privelege to be in Guatemala
We've been very active in the cool weather of Guatemala City- praise the Lord, no sweat!!! We've had the opportunity to visit schools, be a part of the Staff Training "Destiny by Design," spend time at Shalom Casa children's home, hung out with a group of people living on the streets, prayed for people at the soup kitchen and interceded on behalf of the government here....Its been busy, challenging and a stirring of our hearts. I'm so grateful at what God is doing through us and in us, our team has "got down" to business and put their eyes on Jesus- the author of Great Things. We're excited to see all that He has in store as we travel to South America next week... Please pray:- Monday we'll be visiting "La Linea" (the line) its a deserted railroad tracks where prostitutes have rented tiny rooms. Its like its own community...we'll be walking around and talking to the ladies, sharing with them and getting to know their lives a bit. Pray for God's heart to be revealed through us, even through our limited Spanish.
- Tuesday- our flight to Chile, pray for safety
- Health for the team- we've had some bouts with different things while being here
- One of our team members, Lajuane still needs a visa for Argentina- pray for God's favor
love & blessings!
