As time is winding down, only two weeks stand between us and the foreign countries...we've seen God provide thus far- our goal is $7,650 USD! Keep praying!!

This last month...
Hi Everyone…
It’s been awhile and lots of things have happened in this past month…
I, Alyssa, just arrived back from the States- I went to be with my family on word that my Aunt Julie passed away. My two uncles paid for airline tickets for me and my three cousins that live out of Wisconsin. It was an incredible blessing to be able to be with my family for this time. I can’t tell your how grateful I am to have been able to be close to those ones. Please keep my Uncle Steve and their 4 boys in your prayers- this will be a continual walk for them as they experience day to day life.
Discipleship Training School (DTS) is well on its way to preparing for the outreach part. We have 3 more weeks of lecture, in-class school and then we’re off to the different countries. Its been a long journey of learning for Omar and I through this area. A lot of things have been new and uncomfortable but yet God continues to be faithful. We will be going to Guatemala City- Santiago, Chile- and Argentina for outreach. Each place has a YWAM base that we’ll be working alongside, partnering in helping to advance their ministries to different people and serving in whatever capacity opportunity provides. All of the students felt strongly that God was calling them to South America- especially Chile, so I’m excited to see what God has in store for us and the people in those countries.
Two of the students are still in need of finances for their outreach as well as Omar and I still needing. Roughly the trip will cost $4500 BZD or $2250 USD per person. We as a team need roughly $8000 USD more. Please partner with us in praying for God’s provision in this area. We’ve seen Him do amazing stories before!
Belize is SOOOO hot right now and the anticipation of experiencing cooler weather in South America means great excitement!!
I have a great praise report- our youth group “Joshua Generation,” has been praying and saving $ for new Bibles. Upon visiting home this last trip, Adullam Vineyard Church (Bill & Teresa Sergott) gave us 20 new Bibles. It was so cool and I hadn’t even mentioned anything- it was right on time.
Thank you to all those standing with us…know we don’t physically see you guys a lot but our prayers and thoughts are with you. Omar and I are reminded often of what an amazing family and group of friends we have. In experiencing the death of a close one my perspective is put into place- it’s those around you and the relationships that you have that make the world different.
